The Art Deco movement featured furniture pieces with distinct decorations. Some had natural elements such as flowers and plants (acanthus leaves). These were created using fine lines and weren’t as elaborate as the decorations on previous furniture designs.
Apart from natural elements, Art Deco cocktail cabinets also had geometric shaped ornamentation. Common elements included rectangles, triangles, curves, V-shapes, and sunbursts. Only in few instances would Art Deco furniture makers use intricate inlays.
