We are very well connected by both road and rail. We are a short - 35 minute - drive north of London. We are just off the M25 near the A1 junction just outside of Potters Bar in leafy old Herts. If you are taking the train to our large Hertfordshire antiques showroom, Potters Bar is just 20 minutes north of London Kings Cross via railway. You can either take a mini cab from the station or give us a call and we will pick you up.
It's amazing the twists and turns that life takes. We used to do all of our business via a traditional bricks and mortar physical shop. Our first showroom back in the late 60s was on the Blackstock Road in Islington. Then we moved onto Westbourne Grove in London's Notting Hill Gate, which was then a road packed full of antiques dealers and assorted characters - now it's perhaps one of London's trendiest strees, full of chi chi boutiques and high end coffee shops. In the early 00s we had a busy shop on London's Church Street NW8 near Marylebone.
Then of course after the first late 90s dot com boom, the internet really started to take off and the business gradually moved to be online. Via our website we now sell to a global client base and have shipped our antiques to every corner of the globe. Now we are 100% online and have moved our showroom to a large warehouse very near to where we live - and it's amazing what cutting the commute time can do to your quality of life.
