At Canonbury Antiques we are well known for being dining set experts. With Thanksgiving and Christmas fast approaching what better time to have your whole family sitting around a big high end, classic English dining set? Nothing can surpass dining at a large table with all your family and friends so why not do it in absolute style? All of our dining sets are hand made in England to centuries old traditions and hence are built to last and make a great investment.
If you would like to get your table and chairs in time for Thanksgiving (and Christmas), particularly if you are ordering from overseas - please get your orders in soon. Approx order time for getting a dining set from the UK to the US is 3-6 weeks door to door.
Many of these dining sets are on display in the Canonbury Antiques Hertfordshire showroom (just 25 minutes north of London), also close to Heathrow airport which is convenient for our overseas clients. My personal favourite has to be the Regency dining table which works on a pedestal system and has a clean and minimal design which works perfectly for contemporary interiors. It's very refinied and less heavy set than it's Victorian cousin. We have numerous dining chairs to match including Queen Anne, Regency swag back, William IV and Victorian balloon back chairs suitable to match. Come and see us and try them out for size.
Most of our dining sets work from a leaf system so you can extend the table for larger dinner parties and functions - such as a Thanksgiving or Christmas dinner. Some of our bigger tables can seat up to 16 people and we can custom make even larger dining tables. There's nothing so important as getting family and friends around the same table to dine so why not do it in style? All these dining sets are hand made in the UK to centuries old traditions so they will last forever hence making them a great investment.
Please enjoy some videos from the Canonbury Antiques YouTube channel, including a great guide on how the leaf system works on the dining tables:
