Chippendale
ALL STYLES
After the publication of The Gentleman and Cabinet Maker's Director, Chippendale became perhaps the most famous English cabinet makers, particularly with his distinctive dining chairs. Perhaps the trademark of Thomas Chippendale was the ball and claw foot, as made famous by his range of dining chairs and other items of seating. Our range of pieces include bookcases, breakfront bookcases, desks, side tables and dining chairs. Much of our range of Chippendale antiques and furniture is on display in the Canonbury Antiques Hertfordshire showroom - if you'd like to view anything please get in touch for an appointment. We can also ship these pieces of Chippendale furniture to anywhere in the world so please get in touch for a shipping quote. Alongside
Thomas Sheraton
and
George Hepplewhite
, Chippendale was considered one of the 'big three' of English cabinet making. Original pieces with provenance command high fees on the open market and are very collectable.
