Above we lead with this fun antique needlepoint tapestry screen after Sir Edwin Lanseer's 'Trial By Jury'. The original oil painting now hangs in the exquisite Chatsworth House in the Derbyshire Dales and - sorry lawyers - is a satire of the legal profession with the French poodle as judge. Of course, Landseer is perhaps most famous for creating the bronze lions that sit at the base of Nelson's Column in London's Trafalgar Square.
As an olive branch to possibly offended lawyers, we include a classical bronze casting of Lady Justice below. Plus, again we've added some more pieces to our 40% SALE - highlights include a classy pair of French cabinets with marquetry inlay and an art deco display cabinet. Have a great week!
